Investigations of molecular markers for Schizophrenia, Alzheimer disease, Bipolar disorder and epilepsy.
Investigation of polymorphisms in genes involved with neurogenesis in DNA from individuals with Schizophrenia.
Investigation of gene expression in cell cultures and animal models for Alzheimer disease.
Investigation of gene expression in brain samples derived from normal and Schizophrenia subjects.

Planning, execution and coordination of Transcriptome and genome projects of organisms such as Schistosoma mansoni,Taenia solium, Human cancer tissues and Xylella fastidiosa.
